I often have a very adverse reaction to fragrances, but not this one. It is light and airy. Desire is a very fresh scent, not overpowering at all. The fact that I can wear it without getting a horrendous headache is a fantastic plus! It is a bit pricey in the store, but well worth it to me. I get complimented on it constantly! I definitely recommend that you try it.
