The beauty of Arpege is that it is a fragrance for the ages. It's classy, not cloyingly sweet, like so many of today's perfumes, or so overwhelmingly that people passing by sneeze. It is light, with a scent reminiscent of walking in a garden at twilight. Is it any wonder Princess Diana and Audrey Hepburn loved it?
For the Christmas of my fifteenth year, my father gave me a small bottle of Arpege perfume nestled in velvet box . It was a very special gift since he usually left the gift buying up to mother, but I also fell in love with the scent. I have been wearing it ever since and am now 64!
