His very successful process relies on direct marketing to celebrities and the establishment of exclusive brand and product stores. He initially designed for such brands like Lee Jeans, Liberto, Kookai, Von Dutch Originals, and Naf Naf, making his mark as a high fashion jeans designer. His products began making style trends with the emergence and influence of his Von Dutch Originals and its stores.
This fashion impresario's interests and ventures range from fine Montpeyroux wines to a club bearing his name at Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, to being designer for the stars, including Michael Jackson's cancelled "This is It" live tour wardrobe. Christian Audigier's extravagant birthday bashes, complete with many pop star icons like Michael and Madonna, are well known. The extremely popular perfume product lines, Ed Hardy Perfume and Ed Hardy Love and Luck Perfume for Women, Ed Hardy Cologne and Ed Hardy Love and Luck Cologne for Men, were introduced in 2008.
