Three Tips for Making Cheap Perfume Last Longer
Cheap perfumes are accessible for almost any budget. With so many brands costing under $20, even people tight on funds can enjoy the aromas of discount fragrances.
However, if they use the perfume a lot, they may end up having to make a second trip to the perfume outlet. When this happens, they’re shelling out another $20, and then another. After a while, a woman may discover that she has spent over $100 trying to refill her “cheap” perfume.
With that being said, women need to find ways to lengthen the life of their fragrances. Below there are three suggestions: 1) refrigerating the fragrance, 2) applying the fragrance to their clothes instead of their skin and 3) storing the fragrance in a perfume bottle. 1. Refrigerating the Fragrance
When cheap perfume is exposed to much heat, the oxygen level goes down which interferes with the fragrance’s aroma. You can prevent this problem by refrigerating the perfume. Make sure you keep the temperature at or below 7 degrees. However, be careful making the temperature too low, as you don’t want the perfume to freeze. If it develops any type of ice, the chemicals become diluted, which interferes with the fragrance’s potency.
2. Applying Cheap Perfume to Your Clothes
Some might think applying cheap perfume to your clothes is a crazy idea. But in reality, it isn’t because once perfume hits your skin, your body chemistry will keep it from maintaining its aroma. This doesn’t mean it won’t dissipate on your clothes, but there will be fewer elements to interfere with the scent.
Anyway, if you get used to doing this, you will find that you won’t have to spray as much perfume throughout your day.
3. Storing the Fragrance in a Perfume Bottle
Finally, you need to consider putting your cheap perfume in a perfume bottle. Why a perfume bottle over the fragrance’s original packaging? Well, perfume bottles do a better job at maintaining the fragrance’s oxygen level. And this is important because oxygen determines the strength of a perfume’s aroma.
